Since 1958 International House – Collegium Palatinum has provided quality German language programs at all levels for academic, professional and personal purposes. As an affiliate of International House World Organisation the school is committed to the high quality standards of IHWO.
Participants are able to learn German intensively and effectively in small groups or at one-to-one basis. Language courses closely follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning and Teaching.
Courses
Students can book interactive class-lectures of 20/25/30 units per week; or individual lessons catering to special needs.

Our wide-ranging cultural program includes guided tours in Heidelberg, city trips, visits to companies, beer breweries, wine-tasting, concerts, and museums; outdoor activities such as bicycle tours, canoeing, or volleyball. Students settle in quickly and feel at ease!

Es war wichtig für mich einen Deutschkurs zu besuchen deswegen habe ich Collegium Palatinum gewählt. Es war gut dass wir in kleinen Gruppen gearbeiten haben so konnte die Lehrerin die Fehler sofort korriegieren. Der Unterricht war interaktiv, wir haben die Möglichkeit über aktuellen Themen zu sprechen. Ich finde gut, dass wir jeden Tag etwas Anders machen sollten und so war der Kurs nicht langweilig. Ich habe auch die Sehenswürdichkeiten von der Stadt Heidelberg während des Kulturprogramms gesehen und das war auch toll. Ich bin seit 3 Monate hier und jetzt bin ich leider am Ende des Kurses. Es war eine gute Erfahrung für mich weil ich meine deutsche Sprache verbessern habe und weil ich hier wohl fühlte. Die Atmosphäre währen des Unterreichtes war entspannend deswegen könnte ich schneller und einfacher lernen.
