Gewählt habe ich die Schule per Zufall. Eigentlich suchte ich ja ein Sprach-Praktikum im französischsprachigen Raum. Dadurch bin ich im Internet auf die Ecole Suisse Paris gestossen. Da es mit meinem Praktikum jedoch nicht geklappt hat, kam ich in den Genuss eines aussergewöhnlich hochstehenden Sprachaufenthalts.

Die Ecole Suisse Paris hat sich den Slogan „klein aber fein“ auf die Stirn geschrieben. Bei nur rund 10 Studenten (sowie einigen zusätzlichen Schul-Gruppen, welche jedoch separat geführt werden) kann die gesamte Schulorganisation noch wirklich flexibel und persönlich erfolgen. Alle Studenten dürfen auf die individuelle Unterstützung vom Sekretariat, den Mitschülern und den Lehrern zählen. Der Umgang Lehrer – Schüler ist äusserst kollegial: Gemeinsame Mittagessen, Kinobesuche und Ausflüge sind nichts Aussergewöhnliches; auf Wünsche der Studenten wird auch kurzfristig eingegangen und das persönliche Gespräch ist jederzeit möglich. Zur individuellen Unterhaltung steht den Schülern eine DVD- und Büchersammlung gratis zur Verfügung.

Ich war bereits in mehreren Sprachschulen in Frankreich, Spanien und England. Qualitativ waren alle gut, aber leider wurde in der Freizeit meist deutsch oder englisch gesprochen. Daher hat mich mit am meisten beeindruckt, dass hier die französische Sprache und Kultur nicht nur gelehrt sondern auch gelebt werden: Trotz einem Schweizeranteil von 80% haben wir während des Unterrichts, in den Pausen und auch in unserer Freizeit konsequent französisch gesprochen. Allgemein war das Sprachniveau der Studenten sehr hoch, meist zwischen B2 und C1. Die Mehrheit der Studenten zeichnen sich durch klare Ziele, Fleiss und Ehrgeiz aus; der meist besuchte Kurs ist der Intensivkurs (9:00 – 12:00 Uhr und 13:30 – 16:00 Uhr). Speziell empfehlen kann ich die Prüfungsvorbereitungskurse (DELF/DALF). Diese bringen – mit etwas Disziplin und Fleiss natürlich – rasche Fortschritte und hohe Motivation.

Nebst der Schule bietet Paris aber auch ein kaum zu übertreffendes Angebot an Kultur, Gastronomie, Sport und jeglicher Art Freizeitaktivitäten. Die Stadt der Lichter und der Liebe offeriert unzählige Möglichkeiten für Feinschmecker, Partygänger, Spazierfreudige, Shopping-Süchtige und Patisserie-Liebhaber. Bei Sonnenschein ist die Weltmetropole einfach unglaublich!

Une expérience formidable

Franchement, j'avais un peu de préjugés contre le peuple français. Mais ce stage m'a montré le contraire. J'aime bien la culture et j'adore leur attitude!
Par rapport au cours, j'étais étonnée parce que c'était dix fois mieux que mon stage en Angleterre. J'avais vraiment l'impression que l'école voulait faire quelque chose avec nous, voulait nous montrer quelque chose et elle s'intéresse aux élèves. Je trouve que c'est une super préparation au DELF B2 parce qu'on faisit beaucoup d'exercices, les profs nous ont montré le procédé de l'examen. Je ne vais jamais oublier ces deux semaines, j'ai bien aimé et je vais rentrer satisfaite.

QUALITY, instead of quantity

I spent six lovely months at Ecole Suisse: halftime as a student, halftime as an assistant in the secretariat. The school is not big, with usually three professors teaching. The classes are small, too: they rarely reach the maximum of ten students. In this familial atmosphere you can improve your French very quickly. The teachers are willing to help you always, even after school. At lunch everyone eats together while speaking French (the "golden rule" is to speak French ALL THE TIME), so you learn not only during the lessons. If you want to pass a DELF or DALF exam, the native professors (who are formed officially at the Alliance Française) have special material to prepare you really well and they always correct your essays etc.

Every Wednesday afternoon you do something special (watch a film, go for a walk to get to know different areas of Paris, visit a museum,...), that gives a nice change. The 10th Arrondissement where the school is situated is great. By Metro you are almost everywhere inside Paris within 30 minutes. It's a 15 minutes walk to Montmartre, Châtelet and Grands Boulevards where you can find busy nightlife and good shopping. At lunchtime, you'll find a big choice of Take-Aways to get various types of food.

With Ecole Suisse, you can't only book your language school, they also organise your stay in a nice host family or in a comfy studio very close to school. You can even do an internship, for example in a hotel. Whenever you have a problem (e.g. with your host family) , the secretariat is there to help and give you advice (e.g. for planning trips).

I don't only recommend this school because I was a "member of staff", but also because I know from my student-friends that they were happy at Ecole Suisse. If it's possible for you, try not to book your stay for July/August as in this period it's less calm because of summer holidays.

Sprachaufenthalt in Paris - Ecole Suisse Internationale

Im Januar 2012 habe ich während 3 Wochen mein Französisch an der Ecole Suisse Internationale in Paris aufgefrischt. Jeweils am Vormittag habe ich 4 Lektionen in der Klasse und am Nachmittag 2 Lektionen Einzelunterricht besucht. Ich habe die Schule sehr positiv erlebt: Die Klassen sind klein, die Professoren sehr engangiert und kompetent, die Atmopphäre familiär, unkompliziert und kollegial. Ich würde jederzeit wieder an dieser Schule buchen.

Une école très familiale

Les profs sont d'une manière flexible est s'adaptent aux niveaux des étudiants. Ils s'occupent vraiement de ce que les étudiants veulent apprendre. En classe on parle beaucoup.

good time!

I spent 3 month in the school (DELF preparation) and I really liked the atmosphere there. The teachers make a huge effort to support the students. Even after class you can ask them all kinds of questions. Due to the fact that the school is quite small, they care individually about you... It often happened that we were just 3-4 students in an afternoon-class. Thanks to these circumstances you improve really fast. The courses are well balanced, meaning the teachers train you in speaking, listening, grammar, reading and writing.

The school-building is well located, just next to a Metro station and in a lively part of Paris...

Merci pour tout. C'était vraiment fantastique!!

Je peux seulement dire >>wow<<. Cette école est absolument à la difference des écoles normales. Les professeurs et très gentils. Dans le cours sera traiter beaucoup par exemple: un jeu avec les vocab. J'était dans un famile accueil pour trois semaines et il était formidable. Je recommande l'Ecole Suisse à tout le monde qui veulent apprendre la langue français.

Cette école était vraiment très bien. Tout d'abord, l'atmosphère familiale a rendu le séjour très agréable. Les prof, le secrétariat et les étudiants étaient très gentils. J'ai lié de bonnes amitiés. Les cours sont bien composés avec un equilibre entre les exercices écrits et oraux. Pendant les 6 mois que j'étais à Paris mon français s'est beaucoup amélioré aussi grâce au stage que j'ai fait. J'ai travaillé au secrétariat qui était une très bonne expériance. Je recommande cette école à tout le monde qui souhaite améliorer son niveau de français.

this school is so amazing. I love there so much though I didnt stay for a very long period just a month but I cry for my last day because students and teachers are so nice. eveybody were so friendly. and teachers also give me a lot of help in other informations.
and the private class is so useful. you can decide what you want to learn everyday and I get a lot of progress quickly because I get private class everyday.
and the morning class is also great!!! sometimes we have role play, conversation and some simple games, etc. the class is not too big so teachers will have enough time for solving all problems.
for the accomadation, I lived in school sudio it was very lovely and just upstairs of school. its really convinient and cozy. you got everything in your room.
everything is really nice and fantastic.
I will go back for my next time language travel.

these school belongs to one of the best experiences in my life. I´ve never thought that ill meet so many great people and the weather, accomodation, teachers, trips and animators were fascinating as well. Now, i have a lot of wonderful memories at this time. If i will have similar possibility to visit some new places and learn language and new culture in the same time,im sure, that ill do that throught this agency. The best choice!

Ideale per chi ha bisogno di imparare il francese completamente seguito da professori disponibili e professionali. La mia esperienza è assolutamente positiva in questo senso e non posso che consigliarla. Le classi sono piccole e accoglienti, i gruppi di studio di conseguenza sono estremamente controllati, niente di meglio per chi ha intenzione di imparare bene il francese, con la serietà del personale docente, senza dimenticarsi delle bellezza di Parigi, infatti la scuola è collocata in uno dei cuori della città.

日本でフランス語を学習していても会話力や聞き取りで伸び悩んでいる方に最適の学校です。
日本人にはかなり早いスピードで授業は進みます。内容は特別難しいわけではなく、文法・読解・作文・口頭表現と満遍なくカバーされていますが先生の話すフランス語はアジア人向けのゆっくりとしたものではありません。
仏検２級以上の基礎学力のある人でないと結構厳しいです！でも本当に実力がつきます。スタージュしながら週に数回学校に通うことも可能ですし、校内の雰囲気は静かで暖かく、まじめに頑張りたい人には是非、お勧めです。

Si vous avez assez etudie le francais mais vous pensez que la comprehension orale ou la grammaire vous encore manque pour elever votre niveau, je vous recommande l'Ecole Suisse. On apprends la langue francaise profondemment et precisement. Quand j'etasi la, il y avait 2 classes dans laquelle des etudiants etaient 4-9 personnes.
L'ecole n'est pas tres grande, l'atmosphere est sympatique. Le professeurs et le secretariat vous accueillent chaleureusement!

great school!! i visited the courses for 3 months and made a lot of progress in my french. The classes are verry small whitch is great because the teachers have enough time for every student.
good location too: 1min on foot of metro 'poissonnière' and many different restaurants and bakeries near by (if youre there you must try the 'grenier à pain' bakery ;D).
also i could rent one of the schools appartments for a good price (balcony with view over the eiffeltower included ;D)

L'école est située dans le 10ème arrondissement pas loin de la Gare de l'Est et de la Gare du Nord. Les locaux sont spacieux et bien équipés. Deux ordinateurs et un réseau WiFi sont disponibles pour naviguer sur Internet. L'atmosphère à l'école est très familiale. Le secrétariat et les professeurs s'occupent des étudiants pour assurer le bien-être de tout le monde. Les cours sont variés et les professeurs répondent aux désirs des étudiants.
